Quality Control

My role and Cenveo is to oversee quality. To make sure we are following our standard operating procedures, and we are producing the best possible envelope. I walk the floor, take a look at the quality of envelopes. I oversee safety as well, making sure that we are following procedures - lifting procedures, any kind of safety issues as well. We really focus on safety culture here. We really like our employees to come in with the thought that they’re going to be safe throughout the day and go home safe. Safety is started off by our stretches, and throughout the day safety is monitored whether it’s safety incentive programs that keep the employees engaged with safety. Or it may be the supervisors walking the floor identifying potential issues or safety factors. Production has many roles. It has an operator who packs the envelopes into the cartons. It has adjustors that actually make the envelope and are a little more technical, and set up the machinery. We have forklift drivers that move material around, and load our trucks. A successful employee at Cenveo is someone that wants to grow with the company, wants to produce good quality, and shows up to work every day willing to be safe from the minute they walk in the door till the minute they walk out.
